Who we are
Rosrijk is published by Rob Giesbers, Buru 47, 3772 EX Barneveld, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 42123374, VAT number NL003094699B71. You can reach us at info@rosrijk.app.
What Rosrijk stores, and where
Everything you enter, such as horse profiles, care records, ride data, photos and notes, is stored on your iPhone and, if you are signed in to iCloud, copied to your personal CloudKit container. That container belongs to your Apple account. We cannot reach it. Apple's privacy policy governs how Apple stores and protects that data.
Rosrijk uses a protected server for optional website features, including the ambassador programme. That server does not receive horse data, care records, GPS routes, costs, photos or notes from the app.
What we do receive
Subscriptions. When you take out a subscription, Apple handles the payment. The app checks your entitlement on your device through StoreKit. Without the optional referral link, we receive no purchase confirmation on our server. We never see your payment card, Apple ID or billing address.
Optional referral link. If an ambassador introduced you to Rosrijk, you can choose to link a one-time code before purchasing. Once that feature is in the app, only then will it send Apple-signed details for an eligible Basic or Pro purchase, plus a random account code, to rosrijk.app. The app currently in the App Store does not do this yet: it makes no connection to our server at all. We process the product, transaction ID, purchase and expiry dates, subscription status and any refund to check the reward. The portal can connect this to the email address you confirmed there yourself. Your horse records, routes, name and email address are not sent from the app. TestFlight purchases and free access never earn a reward.
Usage statistics. Rosrijk currently sends no analytics or usage statistics. If this changes in a later version, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before that version is released.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, Apple may forward a technical crash report. Such a report contains technical information and the device type, not your records or personal data.
What we do not collect
From the app we receive no name or contact details, no payment card details, no horse names or records, no GPS routes, no attached photos and no text you type into notes or care fields. Only if you activate the referral link do we receive the purchase details and random account code described above.
The one exception sits outside the app: if you sign up on this website to be told about the launch, you leave your email address yourself. How we handle that is set out below.
This website
The public website uses no analytics or trackers. Fonts are loaded from our own domain. After sign-in, the ambassador portal uses one necessary, secure session cookie to keep you signed in. If you email us, we use your email address to answer your question and, where needed, handle the related referral or payment.
Signing up to hear about the launch
On the home page you can leave your email address to be told once, when Rosrijk reaches the App Store. We ask for your email address and nothing else.
The signup is not stored on the web server. It is forwarded straight to our own mailbox and stays there until we have sent you the message we promised. After that we delete the address. We do not pass it to anyone else and do not use it for other messages.
To limit abuse of the form we briefly count how many signups arrive from an internet connection. No readable IP address is kept, and that count disappears by itself within an hour.
If you would like your address removed sooner, email info@rosrijk.app.
Ambassador programme
An ambassador creates an account and confirms their own email address. A referred friend also signs up personally through the ambassador's link. We store name, email address, referral, statuses and the details needed to check commission. An ambassador sees only counts, dates and statuses, not the names, email addresses or purchase numbers of friends.
For payment, an ambassador can enter their own account name and IBAN. These details are encrypted and used only for payment through the bank or selected payment service. A one-time app code expires after 15 minutes. A device link expires within one year and can be revoked in the portal. We keep data while needed for the programme, outstanding payments, fraud checks and legal record keeping. Read the additional privacy information and programme terms.
Reminders and iCloud syncing
Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Rosrijk does not send a device token to us and has no push server of its own. Apple may use its own notification infrastructure for iCloud syncing. This happens within your personal CloudKit container and gives us no access to your data or device token.
Your rights
Export. You can export your whole record as a PDF at any time, including after a subscription has ended.
Deletion. Deleting the app removes the local data. If iCloud syncing is on, you can delete the CloudKit data through Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Account Storage, Rosrijk.
Account and consent. The regular app does not require a Rosrijk account. The ambassador programme uses a separate portal account. In the portal you can remove a device link and block every paired device from sending new purchase evidence. For access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of earlier server data, email info@rosrijk.app from your confirmed address. Data needed for outstanding payments or legal records may not always be deleted immediately.
Children
Rosrijk is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
You will see material changes in the updated date at the top. We do not make retroactive changes that reduce your privacy rights.
